How it Works
Our signal comes from our broadcast office to a tower in your area, from there the signal is transmitted to your home or office through an antenna, which is mounted on the building. Depending on how far your location is from the tower and/or how many trees we need to penetrate, you might also need a dish attached to the antenna to amplify the signal. From there an Ethernet cable enters the building to one location inside your home/business. We can plug into a single computer or a router/network connection, which can then distribute the internet to more then one computer. If you do not have an existing network, we have a team of specialists who can help you with networking computers and printers, as well as helping you with any computer problems, for an additional cost. Our goal is to help you get your computer system working for you, whether it is a part of our service or not.
What’s included
Included in our standard residential service cost is the installation of the antenna, wiring it into one location within your building, and connecting it into your computer/router/network. You will get 3 email addresses-each with 10 MB of storage, spam filtering, virus protection, 10 MB of personal web space, a dynamic IP address, unlimited hours of high speed internet access, and up to 10GB per month of internet connection traffic. The speed is; a minimum 750Kbps download and 375Kbps upload, which is comparable to what ADSL claims is their speed, however those are quoted maximum numbers. Although our speed is not guaranteed, almost all of our current clients are getting much higher throughput speeds.
How do I sign up?
Click on the link that says "Site Evaluation Request" fill in as much as you can and click “submit”. When we receive it we will let you know if you are in an area where we can install immediately, email you the contract (or get it to you through other means if you don’t currently have email), and upon receipt of the contract, schedule your installation. If you are in an area where we are planning to put a tower, we will keep you informed so you will know when we will be able to provide you service. No matter where you are, we will let you know the status by telephone or email or e-newsletter.
